Despite the obvious slowdown in the music industry,
\nnew releases are still trickling through.
\nNothing groundbreaking as of yet this year, but beggars can’t be choosers.<\/p>\n
It was sad to see all my concert tickets slowly get refunded, as the hopes for them being postponed a pipe dream.<\/p>\n
However a bunch of new releases have distracted me enough.<\/p>\n
The new Future Islands<\/strong> is worth a listen.<\/p>\n I’ve been looking forward to hearing the rest of Samia’s<\/strong> new album ever since she’s been teasing out some singles.<\/p>\n Phoebe Bridgers<\/strong> continues to delight me. Be sure to check out her Radiohead<\/a> cover.<\/p>\n I can’t wait to get my hands on Idles<\/strong> new vinyl.<\/p>\n I’ve always been on the fence about Sufjan Stevens’ <\/strong>latest albums. Still listening to his overly long new release, but “Sugar” is already on my best of the year.<\/p>\n Speaking of best of, several albums are celebrating their 30 year anniversaries in September including: All on my best of\u00a0 the best<\/a> list.<\/p>\n New Tunes from the past 3 months<\/p>\n
