A few venues that haven\u2019t shuttered for good have started opening up again. Regardless when the music scene returns, Covid will certainly shape how we enjoy live experiences. I\u2019m excited for a return of mosh pits but also to new ways audiences can participate in a live setting.<\/p>\n<p>Things like this &#8211;\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bam.org\/1-1-concerts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1:1 concerts<\/a><\/p>\n<p>As for the 1st quarter of 2021, lots and lots of new stuff is out.<br \/>\nHere\u2019s a compilation of my favorite tunes so far of the first 3 months of 2021<br \/>\nMuch to look forward to<\/p>\n<p>Some highlights<br \/>\n<strong>Dan Deacon<\/strong> remixes <strong>Future Islands<\/strong>. Two of my favorite bands together.<br \/>\nThe new <strong>Blanck Mass<\/strong> sounds epic<br \/>\nLoving the new <strong>Tigers Jaw<\/strong> record<br \/>\nNew <strong>Lana Del Ray<\/strong> is excellent<br \/>\n2 bands I haven\u2019t heard in awhile together. <strong>The Notwist + Juana Molina<\/strong> is exactly what you\u2019d expect.<br \/>\n<strong>Madlib<\/strong> dropping lots of interesting songs.<br \/>\nHighly anticipated <strong>Julian Baker<\/strong> finally out<br \/>\nNew <strong>Middle Kids<\/strong> album is already on my top albums of the year<br \/>\nSame goes for the new <strong>Weather Station<\/strong><br \/>\nFinally some new<strong> Youth Code<\/strong>!<br \/>\nAbsolutely addicted to the new<strong> Hus KingPin<\/strong><br \/>\nLooking forward to a full release from <strong>Skullcrusher<\/strong><br \/>\nSome new <strong>Black Midi<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Mr. Twin Sister<\/strong> is back and is sounding different<br \/>\nSome unearthed <strong>Tech Level 2<\/strong> is a solid throwback<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/playlist\/14XnbItK0VBR54mMpm83d1\" width=\"300\" height=\"380\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2021 is starting to feel better and definitely sounding better.
