{"id":1655,"date":"2023-05-01T11:14:41","date_gmt":"2023-05-01T19:14:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/doublehalo.com\/blog\/?p=1655"},"modified":"2023-07-23T11:17:51","modified_gmt":"2023-07-23T19:17:51","slug":"2023-jan-april-whole-time-i-didnt-know-i-needed-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doublehalo.com\/blog\/?p=1655","title":{"rendered":"2023 Jan &#8211; April : \u201cWhole time I didn&#8217;t know I needed you\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">2023 is starting off with wonderful new tunes to wash away the forgettable year of music we had in 22.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Already have some contenders for albums of the year this early.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>New Pornographers<\/b> are back, but so far they are following the same pattern of the last few albums of having some gems surrounded by blas\u00e9 tracks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The new <b>Liturgy<\/b> has already stunned me for repeat listens.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The new <b>Caroline Palochek<\/b> album is already a top album of the year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Not one but two albums from <b>Skrillex<\/b>. Quite different with 1 being well worth the listen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">There isn&#8217;t a bad track from the new <b>Japanese House<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">I&#8217;ve been a<b> John Vanderslice<\/b> fan since &#8217;99 and throughout his &#8220;424&#8221; album phase. It&#8217;s been awhile that his music has caught my attention but this CRYSTALS album has been quite unique and abstract in all the right ways.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Slowthai<\/b> is back with some incredible tracks.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Initial tracks from the <b>JPEGMAFIA &amp; Danny Brown<\/b> prove promising.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ooooo new <b>Junip<\/b>? Please let it be so.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">It has been almost 10 years since we&#8217;ve gotten a new <b>Blonde Redhead<\/b> album. Single sounds unmistakably like their old selves, so I&#8217;m eager to hear the rest from their 10th release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">New <b>Nation of Language <\/b>isn&#8217;t hitting as hard as their previous material but I\u2019ll take it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Absolutely loving the new <b>Indigo De Souza<\/b><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border-radius: 12px;\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/playlist\/342siYT9Woytm9Gvf4mOKt?utm_source=generator\" width=\"100%\" height=\"352\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2023 is starting off with wonderful new tunes to wash away the forgettable year of music we had in 22.
