Maybe it took working with David Newfield again (it has been almost 20 years.) It is still quintesntial BSS with the trademark orchestra of instruments &amp; sounds. The album is a moving plea to stay human and connected within a collapsing digital world. It is triumphant and by golly it&#8217;s my favorite album of the year so far.<\/p>\n<p>And with <strong>Metric<\/strong> out with a new one and touring with <strong>Stars<\/strong>, maybe we will get a new one from Torquil and Amy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It has been awhile since I have enjoyed a Broken Social Scene record.
